(1) 修飾句子主語，表示主語所處的狀態(tài)或主語同時進行的另一個較謂語動詞次要的動作。

Chased by my dear pet cat, the mouse dashed into a small hole.( 狀態(tài) )

(2) 修飾謂語動詞，表示原因、時間等。
