技巧一：主旨要義題
a. 盡量在腦海中描述出正進行的對話：對誰在進行對話，在哪里進行對話做一定的假設;
b. 尤其注意聽一些關鍵詞，被重復的詞等等;
c. 對所聽到的內(nèi)容進行歸納，什么是中心思想;
d. 特別注意提問句，因為對話通常是一問一答，答的內(nèi)容通常是圍繞問題展開的。
常見的就對話主題而提的問題有：
What is the main topic of the conversation?
What are the speakers mainly discussing?
What is the subject of this conversation?
What is the main idea of the conversation?
Which of the following best summarizes the conversation?
技巧二：身份職業(yè)題
身份職業(yè)題主要考點：說話者的身份、職業(yè)以及兩者的關系等。
一、常見問題一(針對身份、職業(yè)及人物關系)：
1、What is the person’s probable vocation/job?
2、Who are the speakers?
3、What is the relationship between the two speakers?
4、Who is the woman/man speaking to?
二、常見詞匯與短語(針對身份、職業(yè)及其相關)
1、Customer and shop-assistant (salesgirl)
2、for sale on sale discount 30 percent off
3、selling season size style fashion
4、in stock out of stock price change

技巧三：地點方位問題
會考地點方位方面的問題，它可能不會直接告訴你在哪里，而通過一些關鍵詞透露給你它的地點。比如：
School: assignment, lecture, paper, exam, campus, dorm, grades
Bank: account, cash, check, deposit, savings
Hospital/Clinic: prescription, symptom, temperature, cold, fever, stomachache, pain, trouble
Restaurant: menu, soup, drink, beverage, dish, beef, chicken, order, bill
Airport/Station: train, coach, car, timetable, take off, passenger
Post Office: parcel, package, stamp, letter, airmail, regular mail, postage, rate
關于地點的提問形式：
Where does/did the conversation probably take place?
Where are the man and woman speaking?
Where are the speakers now?
Where will the man/the woman go?
