馬云演講中的商務(wù)英語單詞
Hello,I'am Jack Ma, founder and chairman of Alibaba Group.
founder：來自動詞found,。注意：這個(gè)found不是find的過去式，是單獨(dú)的動詞，意為成立。順帶提一下，大家熟悉的方正電腦的商標(biāo)名正是FOUDNER.
chairman： 這里指“董事會主席”
15 years ago, 18 founders in my apartment had a dream that someday we can build up a company that can serve millions of small businesses.
business： 如果沒有接觸過較多正式的商業(yè)文本，可能不太容易知道business還可以是可數(shù)名詞。是的，可數(shù)名詞時(shí)，business的意思是“商業(yè)機(jī)構(gòu)”。仔細(xì)聽，Jack Ma好像沒有把復(fù)數(shù)給念出來。

on their terms，一個(gè)非常重要的詞組，“根據(jù)他們的'情況”，這個(gè)詞組在BEC中級考試(真題第四輯)的完形填空中就出現(xiàn)過。

significantly,這個(gè)詞要念完整很難，Jack Ma還是很認(rèn)真把這個(gè)詞的每一個(gè)音節(jié)都說到位，尤其是-ly韻味十足，贊一個(gè)。

spirit這個(gè)詞很容易念錯(cuò)。關(guān)鍵就在于p和r之間的i，這個(gè)i也應(yīng)該實(shí)打?qū)嵉陌l(fā)出來。注意了，雪碧是Sprite(精靈)。
ignite算是個(gè)比較高級的詞匯了，意為點(diǎn)燃。但是需要特別注意發(fā)音。
entrepreneur這個(gè)詞既難拼寫也難讀準(zhǔn)(但卻是BEC考試的高頻詞匯)，Jack Ma讀這個(gè)單詞的時(shí)候出了點(diǎn)小問題，由于這是來自法語的一個(gè)單詞，因此en的發(fā)音為on, 最后的eur發(fā)音應(yīng)該為eh.

commerce，商業(yè)。Alibaba所在的行業(yè)正是e-commerce，電子商務(wù)。commercial的確是它的形容詞，但是別忘記commercial也可以成為一個(gè)名詞，最典型的例子：TV commercial.
Alibaba has come a long way, but we want to be a company that can last 102 years. We still have 87 years to go. And we believe one thing, today is difficult, tomorrow is more difficult, but the day after tomorrow is beautiful.
為何是102年?也許這個(gè)道理就像蘋果的logo被咬了一口吧。最后的一句非常樸實(shí)的翻譯了“道路是曲折的，前途是光明的”。
So we have to work very hard in order to survive the long journey.
survive這個(gè)詞的用法很特殊，在某種境遇下生存下來，survive之后無需加介詞。
